Meet the Therapist

Kelly Boswell

Kelly has trained with Leeds Beckett University and gained a Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills, Diploma in Play Therapy, Certificate in Filial Play Coaching, Life Story Work and is now a trainee Creative Clinical Supervisor.

She has had over 18 years experience working with children and their families and has two children of her own.

Kelly understands that children are unable to fulfil their potential if they are dealing with difficult issues. She is passionate about supporting those children and enabling them to have a more positive future.

Children use play to make sense of their world.

Play therapy is intended for children that have experienced bereavement or loss, separated or divorced parents, children who are underperforming academically, socially, culturally or physically.

Children that have behaviour problems, changes in their behaviours or they are withdrawn, have communication problems, or struggling with emotions due to being on the Autistic spectrum or ADHD.

Children that have experienced a trauma or abuse, have nightmares, OCD, Emetophobia, have delayed development, unauthorised absences, social exclusion, bullying due to difficult feelings or are being bullied.

There are so many reasons why your child may be struggling, so please contact Kelly to discuss how she can help your child
